Finally ported my sketches and commercial broadcast over from the old site. You can find this and more on my portfolio page.

Its been a busy two weeks! Between some backend server work and my ongoing job search, I am happy to announce two new portfolio entries. Please check out my facial rigging samples from the OMDU Open Beta and PS4 Announce trailers.
Two more videos today, this time in the rigging category. First is a simple 3ds Max Rollbone Utility used to supplement to Robot's automated component rig. The second is a Pose Alignment tool using Linear Algebra, which lives on the front-end of the animation pipe. Like math? I also included a code sample explaining how. Be sure to stop by the code section for additional samples.
After some behind the scenes site prep, today I'm launching a brand new code portal, a sub-section of the site dedicated to the non-visual aspects of my work. Inside you'll find code samples, discoveries, solutions, and other ramblings pertaining to technical problem solving.

Added a quick video today demonstrating Unit Testing in a Maya pipeline. If you've had the urge but never tried it, I highly recommend it!
While work continues generating additional portfolio materials, I began porting some of my older tools content into the portfolio section since it is a relatively quick task. Stay tuned throughout the day for more content, including...
Added a short video demonstrating my most recent Animation Exporter using PySide2 in Maya 2017. This tool works in conjunction with the previously posted Actor Editor, used in the production of OMDU. Be sure to stop by my portfolio page to check out my other works as well.
Work continues on the site, with the new portfolio addition in Production Tools demonstrating the Actor Editor made for OMDU. While you're there, be sure to check out my work real-time cloth demonstration in Unreal 3 as well.
Welcome to the new look of csa3d.com.
With a focus on providing a mobile first experience, the site has been given a much needed total site redesign. We re-tooled using the Bootstrap framework, powered by Pelican and Python.
Old content has been temporarily removed while newer, mobile friendly alternatives are being generated. In the meantime, do not hesitate to drop me a line if you are looking for specific content.
Effective today, Robot Entertainment has announced that it is reducing staff by 20%. Unfortunately, this number includes my position as Principle Technical Artist. While not exactly sure what is next, I'm excited about future possibilities. If you find yourself in the market for a Senior Technical Animator, let's get in touch.
